The first ESS stop for the #33 race team was at Lebanon Valley Speedway this past saturday night June 18th.
It was the first time Lacey has raced at Lebanon Valley. The High-Banked half mile is very intimidating. The #33 sprint car set out for hot laps and the car was going great... for 6 laps or so and then it was acting like it was running out of fuel. The crew tried a few things and thought it was fixed but it happened again in the heat race. The car would run amazing for 6-7 laps and then it wouldn't run right and Lacey would be forced to bring it to the pits early. The crew found a problem with the vent in the fuel cell. It was fixed and the car headed out for the B-Main. But once again, it ran perfect for 6-7 laps and then it acted up and Lacey was forced to pull in early. It was a disappointing night because the car wouldn't run right but all in all the #33 race team had fun and is ready to run with the ESS at Utica Rome on July 3rd. Next stop is Bear Ridge Speedway, June 25th with the Granite State Mini Sprint Racing Club.
