The #33 sprint car team wants to thank everyone for a great 2012 race season. It was a lot of fun and everyone wishes it didn't have to come to and end. The cars are all in the shop and the work will begin for next year.

The 2012 season will soon be coming to a close. The #33 500cc and 600cc will race their last points race with the GSMSRC this saturday 9/15 at Bear Ridge Speedway. An additional "non point" Money race has been schedule for 9/29 at Bear Ridge Speedway. Lacey is currently 3rd in points in both divisions and leading the 600cc Rookie points.
The 360ci sprint car will race it's last race of the season next weekend, 9/22, at Bear Ridge Speedway with the Sprint Cars of New England. See you all at the track! The #33 race team is anxiously awaiting the Triple Crown Weekend which will take place this weekend 8/31-9/2. Lacey will join the Sprint Cars of New England on Friday 8/31 at Canaan Dirt Speedway, Saturday 9/1 at Bear Ridge Speedway, and Sunday 9/2 at Legion Speedway.
Hope to see everyone at the track. The #33 Sprint car team has a full schedule for this coming weekend. The 360 will be racing with the Sprint Cars of New England on Friday night at Canaan Dirt Speedway. The 500cc and 600cc Mini Sprints will be racing with the Granite State Mini Sprints Racing Club Saturday night at Bear Ridge Speedway and also Sunday night at Legion Speedway. It will be a busy weekend full of great racing.

Lacey Hanson and crew along with the 500cc mini sprint, 600cc mini sprint, 360 sprint car and #33 pedal car will be towed in the parade by Ed Fabian of Fabian EarthMoving of Rutland, Vt. Thank you to Mr. Fabian for organizing this opportunity for the #33 race team to participate in the parade. The parade starts at 2pm in Rutland. Hope to see you all there. The #33 sprint cars along with many other racecars attended the car show at the Diamond Run Mall on March 24th&25th. The show was a huge success attracting many people to the mall to check out the new cars and paint schemes for the 2012 race season.
With the 2012 race season fast approaching, the Diamond Run Mall Racecar Show acted as the kick-off of the season for the #33 race team. The team brought the #33 360ci sprint car, along with it's 500cc and 600cc Mini Sprints. The sprint cars always draw a lot of attention and there was a lot of interest shown in the clubs and the tracks. The team would like to send out a big "thank you" to Mr. Fabian of Rutland Vt for bring his pedal car that has be remodeled into a mini sprint and lettered up as one of Lacey Hanson's #33 racecars. It attracted a lot of attention and photographs. Visit the "photos" tab to view photos from the Rutland car show. Visit granite state mini sprints website for a story about their cars that attended the show. The Racecar show at the Diamond Run Mall in Rutland, VT is fast approaching. The #33 race team is busy getting all three cars ready for the March 24th-March 25th show. The 600 mini sprint is about ready to go, the 500 mini sprint body is heading out to get lettered and the body for the 360 sprint car is on track to get painted this coming weekend. There is a lot of excitement building as the show is almost here and race season is just around the corner.

Lacey Hanson has been nominated in the Open Wheel category of the Vermont Motorsports Magazine's Driver of the Year Awards. It is a great honor to be on the list with so many talented drivers from around New England.

Lacey will be competing in the 600cc Mini Sprint division of Granite State Mini Sprints Racing Club. This class will be in addition to her 500cc mini sprint and her 360ci sprint car. Lacey is very excited to race in three divisions. She had the opportunity to race in three divisions a few times last season and is looking forward to do it many times more in the 2012 season. The #33 360ci sprint car will be making the trip to NY a few times in the 2012 season to race with the Empire Super Sprints in addition to running a full SCoNE schedule. It is great to travel with the Empire Super Sprints and get experience at different tracks. The crew is busy getting all three cars ready. The 600 chassis was just painted. All of the parts have been taken off of the 500 so they can be cleaned and the 360 chassis was just fixed. Keep checking back for status updates on the cars. Photos of the painted chassis should be posted soon. The 2011 racing season has ended for the #33 race team. Lacey will be crowned the 2011 GSMS 500cc Champion on October 15th and will be awarded 11th place in SCoNE point standings on November 12th.
The last SCoNE race at Bear Ridge didn't turn out well for the #33 race team. On the first lap of the Heat race, Lacey made contact with the spinning car of Matt Robie. The #33 rolled over twice before coming to a stop on its side. Lacey was uninjured. The team has the long winter ahead to get the car fixed for next year.
